Proposed Projects
Concrete roads

Why concrete roads?
Concrete roads are lighter in color, which can potentially reduce temperatures in urban environments, effectively reducing Urban Heat Islands, cooling major cities and perhaps reducing our impact on the natural process of Global Warming. Concrete is neutral in regards to Greenhouse Gases and doesn’t produce Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) like asphalt, which can cause health defects like asthma and certain cancers.
Solar roads

Why solar roads?
We need roads to efficiently travel anyway, so why not make them work for us? Solar roads have the ability to collect solar rays and turn them into energy, allowing them to power our homes and businesses. Solar roads are equipped with LED’s so we would never have to repaint lane markings saving taxpayers money. Imagine how cool roads, especially around downtown, sport arenas, and concerts could look! You could light up the roads to coincide with holidays, team colors around sporting stadiums, and concerts. In an environment that receives winter weather such as ice and snow? Solar roads can be warmed just enough to prevent snow and ice build up saving the taxpayers even more money by eliminating salt on the roads and rusting of vehicles.
bladeless turbines

Why bladeless wind turbines?
Bladeless wind turbines are able to create energy with lower wind speeds, can be spaced closer that traditional wind turbines, have significantly lower noise pollution, and are safer for bird and bat populations who venture too close to the turbines. Bladeless wind turbines can be placed on top of buildings, making them more self- sufficient and decreasing the need for fossil fuel power plants.
